Based in the US with a global footprint, our team in Germany and Israel is at the heart of our service and R&D efforts.

We are looking for a Controller, based in our Ra'anna, Israel office reporting to the Director of Finance. The successful candidate will be a key member of the global finance team, supporting multiple legal entities in different regions. The Controller will be responsible for monthly closing processes, financial analysis & reporting, tax filling and supporting FP&A activities for a global software business.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly closing processes (AP, AR, GL, Amortization, Consolidation)
  • Manage fixed assets and monthly Revenue Recognition, COGS margin analysis
  • Ensure quality control over P&L transactions
  • Upload subsidiaries' Trial Balance to NetSuite
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Prepare all Balance Sheet account reconciliations and key accruals
  • Oversee software capitalization and amortization, working with R&D
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure correct inventory booking
  • Prepare tax filings and reporting for all group entities
  • Prepare financial statements and liaise with the auditors
  • Handle local reporting in UK, Singapore, and Israel
  • Support global collection efforts and bookkeepers' daily tasks
  • Assist with budgeting process 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred
  • CPA required
  • 7 years general accounting experience with 2+ years of experience as a controller
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both Hebrew and English
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in multinational companies is a plus
  • Ability to work in office at least 3x a week
