Web Developer
About The Position
Hexagon Physical Security Team is looking for an experienced web developer to join our R&D group and be a key part of the development of our newest web product. This role is based at our Raanana site and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring attendance in the office three times a week.
You will have the opportunity to develop a new application from scratch, working with React and TypeScript in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Our offerings provide valuable insights that enable enterprises and security-conscious organizations to take the best action at the right time by correlating structured and unstructured data from multiple sensors and channels, detecting irregular patterns, and recognizing trends.
Our solutions have been deployed to secure a broad range of organizations and events, including banks, utility companies, airports, seaports, city centers, transportation systems, major tourist attractions, sporting events, and diplomatic meetings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and take ownership of new features from end to end
- Program in React/TypeScript.
- Have a high coverage of unit tests for new code
- Have a high coverage of automation tests for new code
- Collaborate with team members to review code, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards
Requirements
- 2-4 years of proven experience in web technologies – Mandatory
- React and Typescript knowledge - Mandatory
- Expert knowledge of vanilla JavaScript with a strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals - Mandatory
- Familiarity with C# – an advantage
- Familiarity with Node.js – an advantage
- Ability to research new technologies and implement them independently.
- Experience working with SCRUM / Agile methodologies – an advantage.
- Ability to work under stress.
- Team Player - ability to work well in a close team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.
